Andrew Forgrave’s Marathon of Edcamps
Calling all Ontario educators!
The GamingEdus very own Andrew Forgrave (aka GumbyBlockhead on the GamingEdus server) is hitting the road and aiming to hit every single Edcamp Ontario event this year (and next!)
He’ll be there to talk all things tech in education, but Andrew is a Minecraft master and will be able to answer your questions about games based learning and getting Minecraft happening at your school.
Check out the dates below to see when he will be cruising into your hometown:
You’ll notice on Nov 8, there are two Edcamps on the same day. Alas, not even the great Gumby can be in two places at once (unless there’s a server glitch), so he’ll be heading to Ottawa. Sorry SWO. 🙁
Looking for Edcamp linkages for more of the informations? We haz:
edCamp SWO (please note: this will be a Gumby free edCamp)
All right, Ontario Edus – go forth and camp! And don’t forget to say hi to Andrew.
HEY, Liam! There’s nothing like a road trip to spread around a bit of Minecraft joy! So far, our ball-of-clay has rolled into discussions at both #edCampToronto and #edCampBarrie this fall. (With my two sons along for the ride, we joined in to chat Minecraft at #edCampTorontos and #edCampWaterlooRegions in previous years…
And although I used to be able to split myself up into smaller versions of me back in the day (Law of Conservation of Clay being what it was), perhaps I’ll be able to join in an #edCampSWO discussion if someone at the other end has a laptop and sets up a Hangout or Skype!
At any rate, we’ll share where we can! 😉
Gumby
Yes, Gumby we must share the Minecraft love and the clay! I’ll get our redstone engineers working on ways to return you to the glory days of clay conservation before everything went pixelated and blocky.
