Back in 2015, members of the GamingEdus travelled to St. John’s, Newfoundland, to talk Minecraft at the Atlantic Provincial Library Association. A year later, they made it to the other side of the country. Denise Colby and Diana Maliszewski flew to Vancouver, British Columbia to present on “Passion-Led Communities” at the Learning Forward conference. This would not have been possible without the financial assistance of an Extended Sharing grant from the Teaching Learning and Leadership Program (a joint venture of the Ontario Teachers Federation and the Ministry of Education for the Government of Ontario). Diana and Denise also want to thank Moses Velasco for his support with the proposal. We can honestly say that GamingEdus has shared their passionate message of “inclusive n00bing it up” all across Canada, from sea to sea!
